This product is also known as decomposed granite or granitic sand. Light brown to tan colours with grain size from dust to approx. 7mm.
This product is used as a decorative topping for driveways and paths and can be used in place of paving or concrete. It is a highly compactable material and is used extensively for pathways around public parks.
Ideal for running, walking and golf course paths.
This product is the material used on the Botanic Gardens’ famous Tan Track. For best results, this product should be laid to a minimum depth of 50mm, moistened with water and compacted with a roller or vibrating plate compacter.
