Project Description

Loam is a non-fertilized, finely screened soil that is ideal for topdressing existing lawns and turf.

Loam soil is dominated by sand particles, but contains enough clay and sediment to be used for; ground levelling, as a base for gardens, under and over turf and planting natives.

It is essential to water thoroughly after top dressing lawn to encourage new growth and to prevent crusting.

Adding propagating sand to loam creates an ideal native soil blend to help with drainage.
